Everyone knows the story, “Little Bastard”, the car that took James Dean’s life. The car itself was an excellent machine but that tragic event gave the 550 Spyder a morbid mystique that can’t be denied or escaped.
Recently webuycars.com had the opportunity to buy a replica of the storied machine and they took it. Although not the real thing she was still gorgeous and also a testament to how legendary the 550 Spyder was. Produced on a VW chassis and endowed with a flat four boxer motor, she sounded and moved like she wanted people to believe she was the real deal.
So captivated with this representation of the legendary vehicle I couldn’t help but have her photographed, and what better to accompany a beautiful car than beautiful models? I believe a fitting tribute the the late great James Dean.
